Veterinarians
Dr. Mikell Vincent Adair was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. She earned undergraduate degrees from Fairmont State University(RVT) and West Virginia University before receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Adair moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she spent more than a decade practicing emergency and specialty veterinary medicine. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and providing practical, compassionate care tailored to each patient and family.
In 2018, Dr. Adair returned to her hometown of Fairmont, bringing with her years of experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care to the community she calls home.
Dr. Adair lives in Fairmont with her husband, their two children, three dogs, one cat, and several chickens!
Dr. Molly Ford Allen was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from West Virginia University and then a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2007.
Dr. Allen has been in community practice veterinary medicine for the last 19 years, splitting that time in Charleston, South Carolina and Morgantown, West Virginia. Her professional interests include preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology.
Dr. Allen and her husband live in Fairmont with their two children, two dogs, one cat, and an axolotl.
Dr. Katy Barrish was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and currently resides in Fairmont. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Nutritional Science from West Virginia University and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2024.
She and her husband have a baby girl and two small dogs.
When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time with family, playing card games, reading, and going for walks.
